Frequently asked questions
How accurate are the cuts?
Video players start and stop exactly at the times you choose. The file keeps a few seconds of lead-in that players skip, so a few video editors that ignore this marker may show it – just trim it off there.
Why is trimming so fast?
VodGrabber copies the original video instead of re-encoding it, so you get the original quality and only download the part you selected.
Can I leave the end time empty?
Yes – it downloads from the start time to the end of the video.
Is trimming slower than a full download?
Usually it's much faster, because only the section you asked for is downloaded.
Can I trim YouTube videos too?
Not right now – YouTube downloads are temporarily unavailable. Trimming works for Kick and Twitch.
